As the founder and principal of RPAK12, Rick Rodriguez Piña has distinguished himself in the field of strategic partnerships between the governmental and private sectors. With nearly 40 years of proven experience, he has established a solid reputation as one of the preeminent professionals in this unique field. He is a seasoned professional with vast knowledge of the political and administrative nuances within governmental entities at the national, state, and local levels. Rick’s primary focus has been to serve as the on chief architect, strategist, and thought partner for many national corporations seeking to leverage his strong, longstanding relationships and knowledge within school districts around the country.

In addition to RPAK12, Rick is a successful entrepreneur. He has applied his keen business sense to numerous business ventures in the areas of real estate and health care. He is a licensed insurance agent in multiple states.

Rick also invests his time, talent, and resources through his civic involvement on a variety of boards, including the Adrienne Arsht Center Trust, current Board member, Breakthrough Miami, current Board member; the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, past Treasurer; the Latin American Business Association (LABA), Co-Founder and past Chairman; Florida International University’s Metropolitan Center, past Chairman; the FIU President’s Council Advisory Board; The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority Citizens’ Advisory Committee; Orange Bowl Advisory Board; Transition, Inc.; Great Florida Bank; Biscayne Institute of Health and Living, and Florida Venture Foundation, among others.

Rick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Florida State University and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
